Sometimes I go to my iTunes (8.2.1) and the volume slider is stuck at ~40%. The slider can be moved, but as soon as I release the mouse button the slider reverts straight back to ~40%, and only a system restart can solve the problem. This happens randomly when I am using another application or after waking my macbook from sleep, and is very very annoying.
This problem has only happened since I upgraded to Snow Leopard. I can't find anything on the web about this issue, so am scared its because of some hardware issue. Any ideas or similar problems?
