I'd really appreciate some help!
Well... I've been slaving away trying to get my iTunes content on an external drive as my hard drive is full and cannot be expanded further.
Tried all the advice on this site and CNET for moving the library and have never been able to get iTunes to recognise any songs in my library. After moving the content to a folder on my Time Capsule, I've tried using changing preferences, then aliases, then deleting files on local HD...but nothing shows up when I open iTunes!
Latest attempt was holding the option key when opening and manually redirecting iTunes to recognise the iTunes library on my Time Capsule. It didn't and came up with this error message:
"An iTunes library file could not be found in the folder "iTunes". Please choose a different folder."
Well the iTunes library file is in that folder, but it is grey-ed out???
PLEASE help me! I've wasted so much time trying to get this to work
