Problem checking for itunes downloads ...

I am having trouble going back to check for available downloads - such as when a purchase/download from itunes has been disrupted and I go back to try it again later. Or when I have purchased via iPhone.

The apple support doesn't help much and I am specifically looking for information on bt broadband services/home hub.

I realise this may have come up before but can't find anything. Any help gratefully received.
