Having made the mistake of downloading the steaming pile of donkey doings that is iTunes 9 and having it all-but fry my 5th Gen iPod Video, the only way I could get my iPod back into anything like a workable state was to trash iTunes 9, download iTunes 8 from the Apple web site, wipe the iPod clean and re-install all my music from scratch.
OK, so I now have a working iPod again, HOWEVER I am now up a certain creek without a paddle with my iPhone, because it needs iTunes 8.2 to work with the iPhone OS 3.1
Thanks to the rubbish programming of iTunes 9, I am in a situation where I have to have no iPod or no iPhone - whereas I had both working quite happily with iTunes 8.2
Apple does not apparently offer a download for iTunes 8.2 any more, so where can I find a copy to download?
Any ideas, please anyone?
